Outer steel and inner plastic protector

Outer steel and inner plastic protector is a common type of protector used by oil pipe manufacturers at present. The structure is to press in or insert plastic bushing with crimped steel ring, and thread is processed by CNC machine tool after pressing. The protector has high strength, especially the impact strength. Because the thread is processed by numerical control machine tool, its precision is higher, and the anti vibration slipping ability of protector is higher than that of other types of protectors during transportation. The thread thread of protector can also be processed according to the special requirements of pipe manufacturer. It is also easy to recover the protector with outer steel and inner plastic. Its only disadvantage is that the manufacturing cost is higher than that of other types of protectors.

The products shall comply with API Q1 quality inspection standard. Refer to Appendix I requirements of API 5CT for product design. (smooth surface, no thread breakage, no impurity, no slipping, no bonding with steel pipe thread, suitable for the environment from - 46 ℃ to 66 ℃)

Application:

This product is a necessary accessory product for special oil casing, drill pipe and drilling tool, which can protect steel pipe thread. The thread end of the pipe body shall be prevented from being damaged in the process of loading, unloading, transportation and storage.
