POLISHED ROD CLAMPS
The polished rod clamp is of butterfly structure, it is fixed on the
polished rod as retaining device for the rope hanger. It makes the
pumping unit horse-head connected with polished rod through rod
eye lifting device, and then the polished rod append and support the
load of sucker rod string. The polished rod clamp is an important part
connecting oil pump and sucker rod, it is required not only reliable,
have a certain capacity, but also can not cause damage for sucker
rod.
It has solved the problem of the polished rod body damage caused by
the taper slip jamming dens pressing into rod body and greatly reduced
the accident of seriously hurting the seal element to cause oil leakage
due to the scar on the polished rod surface in the process of resulting
stoke parameters or changing pump setting depth.

Rated Workload |
Each polished rod clamp design shall have a stated maximum load rating. The maximum rated load shall be no more than 75 % of the minimum load to initial slippage when a new polished rod clamp which has successfully completed validation testing per F.3 in accordance with API Spec11B(27th). |
